Status Updates:

I should stop writing these while eating breakfast. On the plus side my wife made fried rice and I’m going to eat all of it. I’m jumping right into the funnies today.

Get in the box

In my defense it's a good box. I drag it out ever four years and I need it. I can only take so much sales pitch in this short of a period of time. If you promise to bring comics or a craft I will share my box but we need to keep it library quiet in that box.

Crime Fighter

I'd battle that super villain but my back has been bugging me. Maybe I would be more excited about crime fighting if I could do it in comfy shorts and shoes. I think I’m understanding why people build power armor. I could just roll out of bed into my armor. I’d need a coffee drip though.

I hit the random button and this is what I got. I should talk about this one. This was back when I was doing slice of life comics a bit more seriously than I do now. It was an era where not all the comics would be humorous. I fondly think of that time in my life but I’m not sure I’m brave enough to do that again. My eldest is autistic and fortunately didn’t have to many issues with other kids. Mostly he ignored them. I can’t recall the specific issue but it was on the school bus and it was heartbreaking telling him that some people suck and they won’t ever try to be a better person.

It was like killing Santa.

What's Next:

I have a couple comics in the queue and even better I’m back to drawing while I watch TV so I should be able to build a backlog.

What I'm Reading/Doing:

This week my veterans group got the first real milestone on our memorial. The new flagpole footing and sleeve went in. Concrete should be next week. I’m so relieved that we’re moving forward.
