Status Updates:
I’ve been beating myself up lately and I should cut myself a break. I had worked ahead on comics and built up a big buffer and that allowed me to pick up a few woodworking projects. I am now at the other end of that buffer and feeling crappy that I let my buffer drain down. I set a goal of submitting comics to publications every month and I didn’t really get anything prepared for June. I spent a few days being an internal crab about it until I reminded myself that I set the goal so I am allowed to forgive myself for missing it.
Besides I had to go wait in line at 5:45 AM with my elder kid today while he picked up a Nintendo Switch 2. He’s 25, doesn’t drive, but he does pay for gas. I think it was a fair trade.

Plans
The new plan is always the same as the old plan. Side note.. this is the house I grew up in.
Making noise
If it quacks like a.. wait a minute??? Not much else to say here. We live in interesting times and I’m thinking about that a lot recently.
The Best - Friday’s Comic
Try to keep an upbeat attitude even when dealing with garbage.

What I'm Reading/Doing:
I went from reading one very large book to adding 2 smaller books to my pile.
One is the Wyrd Sisters by Terry Pratchett and the other is in the Midshipman Bolitho series by Alexander Kent. Both books are comfort food.
When your 25 year old is buying a Nintendo AND you drive him AND he pays for the gas, you KNOW you've done your parenting well. Congrats!
