In non-cartoonist news, I’ve been going into my office more often. This is all part of the company’s new “or else” policy. You see the company bought a new building and they want to show it off.
Being in the office is making me consider looking for 100% remote work. They don’t stock any of the important supplies. I needed a good pen for my work meeting doodles and the best I could manage was one from the lost and found.
I can’t even find a first aid kit. I don’t even know if there’s a first aid station in the building. I’d ask a manage but the sign on his office says that he’s working remotely this week.
On to the comics
Assignment
They pulled all of our seating assignments. I think they are waiting for a fight to break out. I’ve seen some of the most passive aggressive BS happen in the office already.

I've said before that you don't need to be smart to be rich but it's hard to see that you can also be very dumb and be in charge.

I don’t really want to take over someone else’s comic strip but I’d be happy to fill in as the artist for a few of the classics for a year. Seems like a fantastic apprenticeship opportunity.
What's Next:
I need to get back into a drawing cadence. There’s too much going on for me personally to skip drawing opportunities. I do have some sketches that I think will become comics. I also need to make a lumber run and get the first part of the desk built.
Speaking of Sketches
What I'm Reading/Doing:
I needed a light read, so I grabbed my copy of “In the King's Name (The Bolitho Novels Book 28)”. This is a series that my Dad and I had been reading together. I’ll probably keep it on my shelf forever.
