Public Flogging for 3/6/2026
Drawing comics because it's cheaper than drinking whiskey
Status Updates:
It’s been a busy week and I did drop some of the balls that I had in the air. I’m recovering nicely thought and I’m sticking to less juggling.
Speaking of juggling.. A guy I grew up with has recently joined Substack and is working on a book. He’s one part of “The Danger Committee” and all around nice person. You should check out Mick Lunzer and his corner of substack.
I live on the western edge of Wisconsin and spend as much time in the Twin Cities as I do here. This week the company I work for sent us to the capital in Madison, WI for a legislative day. We get to act as the face to our company’s messaging.
I get face time with my local state Rep and Senator to ask them awkward questions. Nothing rude, but to ask them questions like, why are you not pushing more for renewable energy and why are you ignoring the federal rolling back of veterans health support.
They’re state level though so they don’t really have great answers. Mostly they’re stuck in the same boat as the rest of us and would appreciate a boring month or two.
I did get to meet Governor Tony Evers. I call that more fun than a baseball game.
Yes, I know that I’m weird.
The comics:
Friday!
This one is all analog. Hand drawn and hand lettered. It's not perfect but not bad. I'd like to get to the point where every Friday strip is pen and ink
If if passage of time is going to be this sneaky I'm going to start randomly blowing a whistle at it.
Peace through death
Of course we had to go to war. These guys all bought us a 747.

What I’m Reading/Doing:
I should have Double Share by Nathan Lowell done soon and decided to pick up the second of the dungeon crawler carl books. I need to work my way up into heavy reading.
