Status Updates:
Welcome to the update. I’m already lost and I have no idea what day it is anymore. This week, I’m going to do things a little backwards. You get the bonus comic right away. My plan for 2025 is to get you subscribers of this newsletter one bonus comic that get’s published here and no where else (at least right away).
This week I’ve been thinking about the two new years day tragedies. Neither of them make any sense to me. That’s likely part of why they are tragedies.
The above comic expresses my feelings pretty well. I hope others can relate and give it a nod. I’m feeling a bit numb about the subject and I hate that.
I had said previously that I intend to add an editorial voice to some of my comics in 2025 and that’s HARD. I went back and forth a lot on if I should even put it out into the universe. We have two horrific incidents that are essentially meaningless and becoming just another talking point. At this moment it looks like these two people had reached the end of their line and decided to go out in a spectacle of death. It’s happening too often.
Enough of that.. back to the funny.
Dry Socks
If you have ever spent time marching you know that dry feet are more important than it sounds.
Rediscovery
I endorse everyone going out and rediscovering something that brought them joy as a kid.
Moon Cheese
Look, I make a lot of cheese comics. There's a lot about my life that can be better understood if you are currently eating cheese.
Build the robot
Inspired by some OLD Doctor Steel music. Not the new guy. I have no idea what the new guy is doing.
Elf Friend
Always say yes to elf friend requests
Grim
Try to enjoy your job but remember that life isn’t about what you do to live, it’s about what you live to do.
What I'm Reading/Doing:
I picked a book off the “to be re-read” pile and am reading Guards! Guards! by Terry Pratchett
