I'd stop digging this hole but I think I'm getting closer to gold
Status Updates:
I’m a bit of a scatter brain most days. I hesitate to say that I struggle to stay on task. I’ve been this way so long that it’s just how I operate. last night I was out with my wife playing BINGO. During a break a friend asked me a question about an event in September and it was hard getting back on task to focus on BINGO. That’s how it is sometimes.
This morning is like that. I started today with a plan to write about this week. I think I had some clever thoughts on what to write and then BANG a comment on facebook got me.
It was a fantastic comment and I’ve been hoping for one like it. I’ve been doing little tributes to veterans killed in war time who were from our community. Some of the families have moved on or changed names or even died off. Today one of the families noticed. It’s such a good feeling.
On that warm fuzzy note, more comics.
Still Married
It's an old joke but still funny. My wife could probably do much better then me and I'm grateful that she still keeps me around.
Victory Funding
Just a short while ago tech companies were the enemy of the right wing. Now all these large tech companies are handing over millions in support to a certain victory fund. Makes you wonder what promises were made. Are they buying good will? Are they paying to not be attacked by the DOJ? What happens if they stop paying? Maybe I'm wrong but it sure smells funny.
Roommate
Your roommate may be awful but they should also be awesome.
Freedom
If you want AI to replace people it's only a matter of time before AI is going to start hiring people to replace AI.
Thank you for reading this far
This is on the sketch book and is for my local legion posts facebook page.
Not high humor but a cute community newspaper type post.
What's Next:
We’re going on a date night to see Colin Mochrie & Brad Sherwood. Should be a good time. I live a rock star lifestyle.
What I'm Reading/Doing:
Still working on Guards Guards. I read too slow. I need to just start carrying it with me everywhere I go.
