Not enough coffee for this sh!t
Status Updates:
I honestly get so thrown off my schedule on these mid week holiday’s. So here I am struggling to wake up. A quick systems check says that I’m functional and have already been productive at work. I feel like I’ve been dragged through a cheese grater. Welcome to 2026.
I’m going to just jump into it.
The comics:
First one of the year.
I penciled this one out with the intention of just leaving it that way. You may have even seen the pencils somewhere. Then I got my Kamvas 13. I really like it. I haven’t decided if it will get a permanent home on my desk yet. At the moment I pull it out and draw on it as if it was a sketchbook. It’s also helped me dive into Clip Studio. I’m still trying to be happy with the CSP brushes. I’m trying to get more of a fade in and out with the pen. I loved the way I had the Medibang brushes set up. I’ll keep playing with it.
This one stated out as a coffee drawing and I loved it so much it bubbled to the top of things to clean up digitally. He’s got a bit of a “Wizard of Id” Feeling to him.
This one is as fine of an example of my adult life as I can get. The older I get the more I like a good cafe breakfast and a lunch buffet. For dinner I would go back and have a second breakfast.
My new years comic was pretty straight forward. 2025 is just as happy to leave as we are to say goodbye.
